FileNorth provides guides, official links and a 12-month digital workspace to organize a Canadian immigration or study journey. The service does not represent the user or submit any application on the user’s behalf.
Service and boundaries
FileNorth provides general information, a procedural questionnaire, calculators, preparation lists, an encrypted vault and editable factual drafts. FileNorth is not a government body, law firm or immigration representative. The service does not choose an answer for you, determine eligibility, promise an outcome, or complete, sign, pay for or submit any government or school form.
Your responsibility
You must provide accurate information, verify every requirement on the current official website, obtain advice from an authorized representative when your situation requires it, protect your account and personally complete every official filing. Never send FileNorth a government password, authentication code, signature or card details.
Payments, taxes and access
The checkout price is in Canadian dollars for 12 months of access to the selected plan. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Government, school, translation, medical, professional and other third-party fees are separate. Stripe processes payment; FileNorth does not store the full card number. Access begins after payment confirmation and does not renew automatically unless a future offer clearly says so and receives your express agreement.
Cancellation and refunds
You may request cancellation and a refund of the FileNorth price within 14 days after purchase by writing to [email protected]. After that period, contact us if the paid service was not delivered or remains unusable because of a FileNorth problem. This policy does not remove any mandatory legal right. Fees paid to a government, school or other third party are not refundable by FileNorth.
Account and acceptable use
You must use an email address you control, verify the account and keep the password confidential. You may not access another person’s file, upload malware, bypass security controls, resell access or use FileNorth to imply that you are an authorized representative. We may suspend an account to protect the service or investigate a serious violation, with notice where reasonably possible.
Sources and availability
Programs, forms, fees, timelines and requirements change. FileNorth dates its sources and provides verification links, but the current official website always controls. We may correct, update or remove content and perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted service, but will take reasonable steps to restore a paid function.
Content ownership and use
You retain your information and documents. FileNorth grants a personal, limited and non-transferable right to use the service and export your own files. FileNorth branding, design and original content may not be copied or resold. Links and information originating from public bodies remain attributed to their sources.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FileNorth is not responsible for a government or school decision, a changed requirement, inaccurate information supplied by the user or a third-party service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or mandatory consumer rights.
Ending the service and data
You may delete the account in Settings. Expiry of paid access ends use of paid functions, but you may export or delete data under the available controls and Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature must survive closure continue to apply.
Governing law and changes
Applicable Québec and Canadian laws govern these terms without removing mandatory protections from your place of residence. A material change will be dated and presented before it applies. If one provision is invalid, the others remain effective.
